Most entrepreneurship programs support teams and projects that already exist.
CoFoundry comes in before that.
We select ambitious people with a wide range of skills and experience, then create the conditions for them to meet, work together and put their compatibility to the test.
Because meeting a potential co-founder is one thing. Knowing whether you can actually build a company together is another.

12 weeks to build for real.
CoFoundry is an intensive, selective, full-time program. You’re not there to learn how a startup works: you’re there to try to launch one.
01 · Form the team
Find out who you can really build with.
Work with several people in the cohort, test different configurations and put your compatibility to the test in action. You try. You learn. You adjust. And when a team works, you choose to build together.
02 · Validate the opportunity
Find evidence before you build too fast.
As a team, you move from intuition to the field. Through validation sprints, you test your assumptions, put your project in front of potential customers and look for concrete signals that a real opportunity exists.
03 · Convince
Turn what you’ve learned into a company that can attract interest.
Structure your proposition, your business model and your pitch, then get ready to present your company to investors.
Taking part in the program does not guarantee any investment.
12 weeks to give you the conditions to build.
Up to $2,500 CAD a month for 3 months: financial support so you can devote yourself fully to the program.
12 weeks full time: complete immersion in forming your team and developing your company.

Selected potential co-founders: 27 other people chosen for what they could bring to a founding team.
Sprints and real work: not just workshops, but situations designed to reveal how you actually work with others.
Experts and entrepreneurs: access to people with hands-on experience creating, funding and growing companies.
An ecosystem around you: universities, technology transfer players, incubators, investors, legal experts and ecosystem partners.
Investor readiness: learn to present the opportunity, the evidence, the team and the ambition behind your company clearly.
Standards that match the opportunity
This program asks for a real commitment.
CoFoundry is a full-time program, in person in Montreal and delivered in French.
Progressing through the program is not automatic.
At the end of the first two phases, GO / NO-GO checkpoints assess whether the conditions are in place to continue: team quality and commitment, participation, progress, execution and evidence gathered.
A person or a team that does not meet the program’s expectations may not move on to the next phase.
Why? Because the 28 people selected commit fully. And so do we.
